Frequently Asked Questions

We know you probably have some questions about our services you’d like to ask before scheduling your reservation, so here are a few of the most common!
How far in advance do I need to schedule my dog’s service?
With any service at our facility we recommend you book as soon as possible! We are a pretty large facility and can usually accommodate anyone that inquires, but around holidays and certain dates we do get much busier and will be completely booked up even a month in advance! A good guideline is to book your pet’s vacation with us the same day you book your own vacation!
What do I need to bring for my dog/cat’s boarding?
At a minimum, we ask that you remember to bring your dog or cat, but beyond that, you don’t NEED to bring anything else! We provide all stainless steel food and water bowls that are cleaned daily, if your dog requires a special dish such as a slow feeder please bring that, bedding upon request, and leashes! However, we don’t discourage you from bringing a few things from home either, such as a machine washable bed or one or two toys! However we ask that you not bring small antlers, tennis balls, or anything you wouldn’t mind losing!
What is included in the basic boarding fee?
  • Dogs – Included for no additional fee are three potty breaks a day (about 5-10 minutes each) in our potty yard, two to three meals (fed in our provided stainless steel bowls) depending on your feeding schedule, and bedding upon request.
  • Cats – Included for no additional charge is one litter box change per day, two to three meals (fed in our provided stainless steel bowls) depending on your feeding schedule, and bedding upon request.
Do you provide dog food? If so? Is it an extra charge? Is there a discount for bringing my own food?
We have high quality, premium, dry dog food we can feed your dog at your request FOR NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! If you have any questions regarding what food we provide, feel free to call our office at (770)266-6262 for more info! At this time, we do not offer any type of discount for bringing your own dog food.
How should I bring my dog’s food?
Due to a recent change in policy, we ask that all food be prepackaged, by individual meal, in either disposable zip-lock bags or plastic containers; NO GLASS PLEASE!
When do I pay?
To make things easier for everyone, you pay upon pick-up! At this time we are unable to accept pre-payments, however, should someone else be picking up your dog, we would be happy to put your credit card on file and charge it at the end of the dog’s stay.
What vaccinations does my dog need? Are there any exceptions?
To board, we require all dogs be up to date on Bordetella, Distemper-Parvo, and Rabies. You will need to provide proof of vaccination!Exceptions are only made for puppies not old enough to receive certain vaccinations or elderly dogs with a veterinary note stating they are too old to receive a required vaccination.
What are your hours?

We are open:

Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 6:00 pm (Closed for lunch from 12:30-2:30)

Saturday from 8:00am-12:30pm

Sunday from 4:00pm-6:00pm

Are you closed for holidays?
We board dogs 365 days a year and always have kennel staff providing the dogs with excellent care, however, our front office is closed and drop-off and pick-up of animals will not be available on Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve. We may decide to close for additional holidays, so if you aren’t sure whether or not we’ll be closed, feel free to call the office at 770-266-6262!
Will you medicate my pet? If so, is there an additional charge? How should I bring medications?

We are happy to provide medication to your pet! They only thing we can’t administer is any injectable medications such as insulin. There is a $1 per medication, per administration fee. Please contact the office if you have any questions or would like to discuss your pet’s needs in detail. Price is subject to change from time to time so be sure to check with us if you haven’t boarded in a while!

We ask medications be brought in a daily pill container or the original pill bottle and that pills be cut into the correct dosage prior to check in. If your pet is on a lot of medications or a unique schedule you may be asked to put your pet’s medicines into one of our provided daily pill containers.

*Please Note: If you put your pet’s medication in their pre-packaged food we cannot guarantee that they will receive it.  The medication fee insures that the pets will receive any medicines they may need or if for some reason we can’t give it during their stay we will contact you*
